Here are some unfamiliar command hot keys I noticed in the configuration list. What (if anything yet) do they do?

Hover View (Shift-F8)
Friendly ID (Shift)
Manual Fire (Shift-Space)
Order Fire and Adjust (Shift-Space)
Fire Grenade (G)
Next Fuze Setting (Alt-Z)

Thanks.

some are related to SB Pro classroom version, not PE (hover view), or vehicule related (Next fuse setting) not implemented yet.

Hover View (Shift-F8): Instructor (not in PE) can in 3D-view go to "helicopter-hover" view and look at the battle field.

Friendly ID (Shift): Put cross hair reticule at vehicle and press SHIFT and you get the other unit's (if friendly) call sign in your sight. This feature can be disabled in mission editor.

Manual Fire (Shift-Space): Will make it able to fire in some situations when it normally isn't possible to fire.

Order Fire and Adjust (Shift-Space): Gunner fire at target and changes target and fires without new firing command.

Fire Grenade (G): Will fire near protection grenades from the smoke dischargers. Only possible in some vehicles, like the Leo2A5.

Next Fuze Setting (Alt-Z): Some HE ammo can have different fuse settings (time mode, chock mode, delay mode....), this command will toggle between them.

Am I to take this to mean that the MPAT will be available, and have the Ground to air fuse? Say goodbye Mr. HIND.

I think Next Fuze Setting (Alt-Z) is for the Leo tanks with the 105mm guns which have HE, Smoke, and HESH ammo. Not sure.

Manual Fire (Shift-Space)

Also known as the Master Blaster, or the Manual Backup Firing Device. Basically, it's a hand-cranked dynamo, if the electrical triggers don't work, it generates a current (Quick flick of the handle does it) which sets off the round.

If in SBP you pull your trigger and nothing happens, and you can't think of any particular reason why that might be the case, hit shift-space, it'll probably send the round downrange. It's amazing how often one forgets to do that in the simulator, even though it's part of the misfire procedures in the TCGST: The first thing a gunner is supposed to do after pulling the trigger and nothing happening is yell 'misfire, on the way' and crank the master blaster.

I figured "fuses" would have been something to do with a malfunction.

Like when the operator crys "SWITCHES!" when he has a stoppage on the coax.

American tank has circuit breakers, not fuses. However, yes, it's the shells.

Hmmm...

That seems kinda chip shop to me... With some of the tits I worked with being able to time detonation seems like an accedent waitting to happen... I guess its up to safety protocals and mesures...

We never had anything Guchi like that!

Just a note with the "shift-space" force fire command, I used to switch to reversionary 2 mode. Or quikly go to emergency mode. We had a fire override switch that let us fire with out coincedence...

as you can clearly see I can't spell for sh*t...but you get the point...

Master Blaster is not intended as a force-fire. It's designed to allow the tank's cannon to be fired if electrical power to the firing system is affected, or even if the entire electrical system in the tank is fried. MB will -not- fire if the various safety interlocks such as the Main/Safe/Coax toggle or the loader's arming handle are in the 'safe' position.
