choose what theme you want to modify. take a skin from the
C:\Program files\eSim Games\SB Pro PE\textures\
folder,
put it into the my documents/esim games/steel beasts/mods/textures/
folder,
and modify it.

Richard,
My suggestion is backup all the folders in the textures folder this includes the woodland, desert, and winter subfolders it is there that the skins for the vehicules are stored. It is not necessary to back up any of the others not unless you are going to mess with the skins for the individual troops. This way when you get a skin to put in the original folder you can just drag and drop and it will overwrite the original but you will still have all the originals backed up. You can store all the original folders in the Mods folder in your personal directory. Good Luck

Deja- I placed the T-72 scorched texture into the mods/textures/destroyed directory and it didn't work. I noticed you could get the destroyed skin to appear by replacing the stock texture in any active directory, since they have the same file name. But that would mean that undamaged vehicles would also get the destroyed texture. Is this a feature yet to come or what have I done wrong?

I think that the "destroyed" textures are still unused by SB Pro PE. I think that Al doesn't want the texture to change immediately if a kill has been achieved, but wait for a longer vehicle fire before fading to the destroyed texture. But that's still waiting for implementation.

To me that sounds like you need a few more programmers... ;)
