I can tell I'm going to be in the Bradley nearly always in SB Pro PE. There's something about it that really fits me.
Anyone else taking a serious liking to the Brads?

Yes- ASLAV vulnerability adds the pucker factor to ratchet up tension like no other. That's why I would much sooner prefer user available control over T-72 rather than T-80U; I want the specific challenges of accomplishing tasks with lesser quality combined with numbers. The psychology required to crew these death traps is something else.

The Bradley was the first tutorial I did. I love the thump of that 25.
Now, we just need an instant action for the Bradley.

You can edit one of the instant action scenario files in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\scenarios\z_Reseved\InstAct*.sce
...after you back up the original. You'll need to move them to your:
"\My Documents\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\My Scenarios\"
directory.
In the edtior, you can select your vehicle and right-click, choose "Set unit type...PC...M2A?
You probably will what to also choose: Options, Set Ammunition, and check Unlimited.
Save the mission, and then copy the modified file back to the "zz_reserved" directory.
When you select the original instant mission, you will play as the Bradley. You will also probably die in about 30 seconds.
Of course, changing any of the files in the reserved program directories could potential cause blindness, impotence, or problems with the game. In that case, You shouldn’t except Esim to be able to provide support, (unless you reinstall the program first). Backup the originals before attempting this!
Of course you would probably want to make other changes to the scenario for the M2. Like moving it closer to the road so you can kill the PCs easier.
I did the same thing for the Tank Range. I’ve been looking for a way to add the Bradley scenarios to the menu, but haven’t located the resource file that defines the menu. The instant action and tank range scenarios don’t seem to be playable like regular missions, so you can’t just copy them to the “My Scenarios” folder and play them from the offline session menu.

You can create your own Bradley Instant Action from scratch if you feel comfortable with the scenario editor. There are tools for assigning scoring conditions and even spawning vehicles into the environment. Furthermore, you can specify less capable opponents than main battletanks so that you will likely survive longer. There's no reason why you would otherwise be tied up here- you have the same tools as the developer.

Here's a Bradley question: what are the conditions under which Bradleys will move forward with their dismounted troops accompanying them? I've seen it happen, but under AI control. I believe the Brads had a "Slow" speed setting, and I think the posture was "Engage." When I jumped in and changed the speed to "Fast," the troops mounted back up.
So, it appears that Brads going Slow on an Engage task will move with dismounted troops alongside. This could be pretty useful for moving in close terrain!
What are the parameters under which this works, both for route-making and for giving orders on the fly?
All advice appreciated!
