What command do I need to give to get FIST-vehicles to call fire missions on their own? I've tried giving them defend/guard-positions where the enemy is in plain sight, but they won't even traverse their turret to the right direction...

Maybe the scenario designer disabled the ability of computer controlled units to call for fire?

Possibly....but then what's the point in including a FIST-vehicle in your company?
(Scenario in question is "Flank attack - Winter")

...that you hop into the vehicle yourself to call for fire?

Seen the same thing in Red Decision Point. The recce-cars will routinely call out arty strikes, whereas the FIST won't even traverse it's turret, let alone call fire missions on it's own...?

Hm. I'd need to check out the scenario in the editor, which you can do just as well I think. Maybe LtHenkel can give us a short statement...

I just tried it. The vehicle works if you jump into it and do the work yourself. If computer controlled the turret does not traverse to the front, which is strange. Settings in Scenario editor are : All units may request arty, computer may request arty, so it should work...
Also nothing wrong with the FISTV, human controlled, no damage, I have no clue whats the problem here... :(
