I just received my copy of SB-Pro in the mail yesterday. Installed today.

I keep getting a CM-Stick error. First I get asked to type in the CodeMeter password. There was no password provided in my copy of the game. The only thing I could find was something in the user manual saying that the default password was “CodeMeter”. So I typed that in.

When I try to start the game I get the following error:
SBProPEcm.exe; Start Error
CodeMeter Error: Please ensure your CM stick is securely in a USB port.100146:11051.

The stick is secure in the USB. I have tried it in each of my computers four USB ports – no luck. My computer is “seeing” the CM-Stick as it is showing up in my Windows Explorer. However the game does not seem to want to recognize the stick.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice. Still no luck.

Anybody know what’s up with this error?

Thanks.

the codemeter bar in the system tools should show up as green if the stick is recognized.

It shows as green. The "C" thing in the tool tray has two green bars. However, when I try to launch the game I get the above message.

See the CM box in the tray -- its green on top and on bottom. Is that how it is supposed to look? Same error -- and the manual CM-Stick and SB manuals are of no additional help.

Was there supposed to have been a setup password provided in the game documentation for the CM-Stick?
