View Full Version : Satiek X45 Joystick issue......???

I'm using a modified X45 Profile which assigns a "Scrollock" mouse keypress to the "AUX. 1" switch positions 1 and 2 to elminate the missing mouse problem when using this stick with the sim (due to the AUX. 1 switch on the throttle quadrant always being active).

Now however, I'm not able to use the "Lase" function ("CTRL" or joystick 2 button) in TC "Override" while depressing the joystick 3 "Override" button.

It only works if I make the "Override" sticky via the "SHIFT-P" keypress.

I don't want to keep the "Override" sticky but so far I've been unable to elminate this issue.

I tried removing the "scrollock" keypress and changing it to another unused keystroke for the "AUX. 1" switch but the problem still persists... :?

Does anyone using an X45 stick and throttle have a fully working Profile, that keeps the mouse cursor visible and works with "Lazing" in TC "Override" mode?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions here?

Thanks!

I have a profile that works, but all you have to do is make sure there is no program on the aux switch and leave it in position 1.

Here's my profile if you want it though.

Thanks a heapload!

As long as the "AUX 1" switch is in position #1 your profile works beautifully. :D

I think I might have unintentionally FUBARED my profile by adding the "P" keystroke to joystick button 3 and the "CTRL" button to joystick button 2.

IT seems the sim already adds these keystrokes so I was adding them twice....DOH!

The only issue I had with my X-45 was that the hatswitch didn't work ingame, programming the cursor keys to the hatswitch solved it though. Glad you got yours working! :)

I use it too. The mouse pointer appears- not very stable, but workable- if I switch to AUX2 from the 1 or 0 position, have no commands on the AUX 0-2. Only a few changes were made for the ProPE profile. I got used to bimanual usage, left for lase and lead and right for positions, views and vision devices, very personal though, but it works.
