Hi,

I am going through Leo1 toutorials and have noticed the problem with GAS range adjustment buttons, which seem to be bounded to manual vertical gun movement no matter what I do. In controlls screen it says that GAS range is SHIFT+NUMPAD8 and SHIFT+NUMPAD2, but in reality it follows barell movement (NUMPAD8 and NUMPAD2). Even thoug I remaped GAS range to j and k in controlls screen, they were still bounded to NUMPAD buttons.

btw, this sim looks great :)

Greetings

Yes, it's a bug, and it's been fixed internally already. Expect it to be corrected with the next upgrade.

I have a similar question: I was attempting to bind the "gunner scan front" to Shift+JoyHayUp, but could not get the shift to work. In fact, I can't get shift to modify anything on a custom level.

Is this the same issue?

No, I don't think so. I don't think that it is possible to combine inputs from two different devices in the key customization screen.

Crud...I was trying to emulate SB1's behavior in that regard. Looks like I'll have to find a work-around.

Thanks Ssnake!

I did notice that the manual range adjustment in GAS only requires the up and down arrows now, where it required Shift + up/down arrow in SB1.

Still responds fine to the mouse for aiming side to side and up and down though.

But only in the Leopard 2A5 since the hand cranks there were replaced by a secondary joystick and electric circuitry; you can see that joystick to the right and forward of the gunner's handles in the 3D interior.

Could the combinaton "shift" + "Joystick input" be included on the next revision? Or is that a coding nightmare?

SB1 had this feature, and it works pretty well for non-crewed vehicles to help scan while using a joystick. Even for the TC position, it's a quick way to get the turret oriented without using the override.

I've noticed a few other keymapping issues, like not being able to assign the left mouse button as a command.

If these are all one set of issues, it would be great to get them upgraded in the next go 'round.

Another note - in the M1A1, the "shift+joystick3" for " sticky override" does not work. It works in the M2A2, but not the M1A1. You mentioned that we could not program these as customs, yet the game seems to recognize the input from both devices simultaneously. Is this a bug, or a feature? :)

I'll leave this to Al to answer it. At least he's alerted.
