Can the scroll Wheel Logitech 510 be programed a key Functio

Howdy any way to program the scroll wheel to do a key function like say the N key for magnifying. Was told the game needs to be made special to do this?
I have a Logitech 510 gaming mouse maybe somebaody knows another way to program the scroll wheel to do a key function. Thanks for any info.

Lonny, I found a piece of software by Ardamax that does this. Mouse Wheel Control 2.0. You can see them at http://www.ardamax.com/info_mwc.html

Not sure how well it works but I'm going to give it a try. I put all my visual control stuff on my mouse and want to be able to control my up/down with the wheel. So, with the mouse I control TIS on/off, white/black hot, magnify. Want to add "Q" and "Z" to be able to scroll wheel mouse up and down.

Wow very nice, here is another program for setting up profiles but no wheel option yet.

Tried their software (ardamax). Works very well. Took two more inputs off my Nostromo.
