This is my first post on the new forum.

I hope its okay that I am posting about another game that may be of interest to the community. (If it's not okay, then Admin please delete the thread.)

I know that some of you just love to TC or gun your tanks. However, others love the planning of where to defend or how to attack and handling the strategy planning from the map, etc...

For those of you who fall in the latter category, there is a pretty cool game out: Airborne Assault. It allows you to command and plan grand strategies (WWII combat). What's most unique is that you can micro/macro manage any way you like. Since you can give orders at any level in the chain of command and you can also form your own task force.

http://www.airborneassault.com/ There is a downloadble demo.

Although the CD packaged game just covers the Market Garden operation, the game is very expandable since the engine is not restricted to the Market Garden operation. So far example, there people working on maps/scenarios which should cover portions of the Battle of the Bulge.

Okay, Sabot up and happy tanking!
