Quick question:

I have noticed that when I switch the sights from Tow, to Gun, the gun sights are way down looking at the dirt, and are slow to come up. And just the opposite if I switch from gun sights to Tow sights, the Tow sights are way up in the air, and slow to come down..

I know ya hit the Home key to set Tow up, but if I decide to hold the tow shot and go to 25mm, is there a key I must hit, M key? But so far, the lens dipping, or raising, extremely, along with slow recovery to level, is got me puzzled.

Anyone else seeing this sight dipping or raising to the extreme, and slow responce back to level?

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. When you hit the lase for range in the Brad, the gun will adjust and you will visibly see the sight move off target to compensate - sometimes putting your gun way over or way below the target, others just a minor bump up or down. I have a tip for you though LS. When you lase and you see that happen, hit "zoom out" then move back closer to the target and then zoom back in. If you try to move back onto target without zooming out first it can take too much time to reaquire your target. The target may have left your field of vision or you may spend a lot of valuable time just trying to recreate yoiur gunsight picture. It's easier to reaquire from being zoomed out for me unless it's just a minor adjustment. ;)

Anyone have anymore change? We could pay tax on a peice of bubble gum.

Thanks Hack, think maybe the disabling of Hpyer-threading may have been an issue here as well.. Think I got the PC running with a kick-ass Turbo 510watt power source, along with seeing some great improvements with the hyper-theading turned back on..

Just need alittle time for some conclusive testing, in both, best FRPS, and joystick stability.

The issue I have with how the sites are modeld in the game is that, if you keep the palm grips squeezed (in the real bradley), the site never drops. Before the lase, the manual index did just that, dropped the sight and you manually brought the gun up, but the ODS fixed all that. Once you lase, you blaze, no sight adjustment to make. This is for stationary targets only, you still have to apply lead to movers, but that is just azmuth adjustments, not up and down, which takes some workload off the gunner.

I know that doesn't directly address your orginal questoin, but I just thought I would throw that in there. Maybe I should post it on some bug list for the next patch or something.
