Bluetooth headsets

Looking into options for headsets for team / MP play.

I have bluetooth on the PC and can pair that with my mobile ‘phone headset.

Anyone know if this combo works with Steel Beasts Pro PE?

Happy to test but not sure if anyone had been down this road before (search for “bluetooth” didn’t provide any leads).

The question rather is, does it pair with TeamSpeak, does it work for sound recording. As far as I remember there were issues with BT devices here, although this may have been addressed at least by some manufacturers, and be it just by driver update. You should test it to see if cou can make it work with the Windows sound recorder. If that works, everything else should work too.

The problem that I had with my BT device was that it was being used as a headphone. I got all the sound coming out of the headset. Gibsonm, did you have this problem or know how to fix it?

Logitech makes a BT headset for PC.

You can solve the issue of having audio from TS and your game coming through your headset by setting the output device (soundcard) in your windows control panel, also you can set a different soundcard (or usb headset etc) in teamspeak. (Allowing you to have game sounds over speakers and TS over headset if you so desire)

I actually use a Medusa 5.1 surround sound headset, not BT, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. ;]
