Is there any way of rigging a bridge demolition (reserve Dem). Would be very helpful when producing missions that may require speed to seize a vital crossing and to force the use of bridge layers. Would also be very helpful in planning a delay scenario msn.
Scaterable mine system would also be cool like the UK shielder system.
Any thoughts?

The only way to 'blow' a bridge, at present, is to drop a FASCAM field on it. This has been done in a couple of scenarios, most recently by 3Star.
The bridge isn't blown, of course, but vehicles 'see' the mines and avoid the bridge.

The only other way to do it, is to start a scenario where the bridge is already blown. ive not tried it yet, but I gather in the latest patch that you can edit bridges so the centre span is missing. That would probably be idea to try out the bridgelayer. Been meaning to try that in my team yankee scenarios.
You could also simulate minefield layers by having a fascam field generate when a vehicle reaches a waypoint IE when X reaches waypoint 10, then fascam etc. You could also probably generate it when a vehicles enters a preset region.(when x is in region y then etc etc)
You could probably use something like that dutch recce vehicle to simulate shielder.

Shall have a look and give it a try. What would be good would be to leave an IED behind and then see the bridge blow depending on what conditions were set!

Yes I thought of that myself. You could wait till a couple of T80s go on it, and blow it sky high. :)

You can make a bridge with a gap in it.
Then use one LAV-25 that is amphibious and swim to the gap and use it as "bridge".
When you decide to "blow" the bridge, take away the LAV-25.

Well, just joking. The collision model will not allow driving on the LAV-25... ;-)

Hmm. Wonder if you could use an MTU55 or a Biber, park it in the gap and use it as an ARK? IF you parked it fore and aft it might not be able to move out the way.
Ah, what the hell, lets wait for future updates instead.

Biber will work but on my last attempt the gap was to narrow and the Biber just drove straight in to the gap even though it was under Breech orders. Think I will just make the gap bigger and see if that works.
I also intend to work on the enemy side of the River crossing scenario and try and work on the scoring. Will post when done. May take a little while though.
