Hi guys, n00b here
Busy downloading missions/campaigns/skins etc etc. How do I install them?
How do mods affect multiplayer?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi Ratel,
missions are going into the folder My Document/eSim Games/ Steal Beast/My Scenarios.
Skins are going into the folder My Document/eSim Games/ Steal Beast/mods/textures. From there, sky textures go into the folder sky, skins are going into woodland, autumn, winter and/or desert.

Thanks Jag!
Must MP oponents have the same mods installed?

I'm not sure but I don't think so, as mods are only altering the visuals you are getting on your own PC.

No your opponents do not need to have the same mods as you do, you can running finish camoskins on your vehicles and your oponent will se whatever he have put in hes folder, for example a german skin...

hmm... is there a possibility of cheating by using for example completely neon-colour skins for red side on your computer? Or will it use the one the host/red side player uses? I haven't played online yet, so I don't know.

unfortunly YES... there is possibilitys to cheat as hell... you use your own skins and they can look how they want, there is no skin transfer as IL2 have (to bad!) so the enemy can have orange skins and blue skins if he like to.
but this is a problem that we had already in SB1 so there is nothing new, sometimes you find someone cheating and they are sure to never be playing online again, its just hard to proof it.
you just have to trust your oponents, most of us know eachother and trust /do not trust eachoter...

You could have everybody post screenshots from battle but not everybody does. It's not that big of an issue in this community I don't think. KT's post above says it best.

Do I have to change the name of the sky textures? I have put one of your sky textures into the sky folder but it had no effect.
