There is no support for roof / track files? At least I couldn't find any way to make them work without placing them myself...
And please, please add to readme file that the program will delete every skin in the mods folder! I just got all my skins and projects deleted by activating the program and now I need to download them all over. Good thing I had the projects backed up, otherwise... hrrr...:)
Anyway, looks promising, but still some work to do, like roof/track/missile launcher file-support (or at least prevent them from being deleted if they are in the mods folder)! And maybe a way to make the program rename the original files in mods folder or to copy them somewhere else (backup folder) - not simply deleting them with no questions asked! <- this will most likely cause trouble to others than me as well!

Ahh, and another idea:
Maybe add an option to "use the original skin", which would make the program copy the original skin from SB folder to mods folder to desired place - this would help when using different skins for red side and blue side - now the user needs to make copies of the originals and put them in individual folders like every other skin!

I'm looking forward to giving this a spin. Thanks!

maybe in the next release, i didn't add them cuz i didn't know what files to copy.

from the deepest of my hart I AM SORRY!!!
i the mean time can some one from the modorators add this warning to the file description?

when you select "none" the file is deleted from the mod Dir, thus the Sim will load the original skin by default.
and ya i know, i have allot to work on,and to learn, if only i was a programmer...

nimo,
I meant that if I take for example woodland theme and put Finnish BMP-1 skin on the blue side and none on the red side, I will have the Finnish BMP-1 also on the red side in the game (because skin on blue side is used on red side if there's no skin to "override" it in the "red" folder). The original skin from SB-folder needs to be copied to the red-folder in order to have different skin for the reds...
And no problem, all skins recovered :). Also found some good ones I didn't try out before! Keep up the good work, as this kind of program is exactly what is needed to play around with all those great skins popping out! These are all steps to the right direction!

Ah, and one more idea for coming versions:
Would it be possible to save and load blue and red sets separately. For example loading russian skins for red side and german for blue side. Then it would be a bit quicker to change the enemy to East German etc. by simply loading a east german set for red without touching the blue side... Now it must be done by saving the sets like:
finland vs russia (blue fin skins, red rus skins...)
sweden vs russia
sweden vs china etc.
With so many ideas coming to mind, it surely shows the program has a lot of potential ;)

OK i gut your points. i will try to make the adjustment.
about the case that if you copy only to blue side, the red side is effected - i think it's the Sim problem, but i will try to bypass it if it wont be fixed in the next patch (ssnake is it?)

any luck w/ a updated version?
any luck w/ a updated version?
yep, here is a list of changes:
1.add a function that blue skin wont affect red skins.
2.fix a bug that deleted files that used by different units (track, missiles..)
3.a list of files will show you what will be copy.
4.changed the navigation between themes.
5.add a log file
now i want to add Bushee66 night mod but i cant find the files, if any one has it can you send it to me via E-mail?

will try it out
ok v1.3 is up :luxhello:
note that previous version preset will not work with this one.
also delete all ini files from last version.
you will find that it runs much better then the last one.
i added a cv904 a,b,c support for the up coming patch, the file "files.txt" will need to be edit in the future to make a difference.
i didn't add the night mod - sorry.
Sean if you read this pleas remove the first file from the download section *Admin: Done
any way enjoy
Great work... Looking forward to the integration of the nightmod in V1.4?

Yes i did, and the 76th input still works, don't know what im doing wrong..
Would it be possible to put a input for TIS files? mainly trees and bushes so we don't have to see the leafs in TIS and no leafs without TIS.
Again, a great software Nimo!!
Ok, I'm being a bit thick on this one and don't really understand the notes in the readme on how to get this up an running.
In the settings I set the paths to my main SB Pro install folder and to the My Documents/eSim Games/Steel Beasts/Mods folder where I have the folders textures and sounds.
I don't understand what the third Mods folder is I am supposed to point the path to. Is this just the folder where I download the mods to ? If it is do I have to rename it to Mods and do I have to place specific folder names inside it for each vehicle type ?
Once I have the folders set up what happens next ? I see a Copy button but what is it copying from and to ?
