I was messing around with my Tiger skins, and realized that most skins don't have a very detailed gun muzzle. Typically they should not be just a black hole, but rather there should be light cast onto the bottom of the tube, and shadows in an arc along the top.

I feel rotton for you man! I want to know too but it looks like either no one knows how to do it, they're trying to find the answer quietly (happens more often in this little gang than you'd think) or don't care.
Well...
I want to know too.
Okay... totally jealous of your flatscreen!! What are it's dimensions and maker? Where'd you get it?

It's an ASUS N6800 512MB video card running dual Sceptre 19" LCDs at 2560 x 1024.
Actually, I wasn't asking for help, but was trying to share what I had discovered about how to do the muzzle, as shown in my shot of the Tiger Skinned BMP.

Could you do that with other guns?

I put alot of work into the one on my abrams. You can crop, and use it if you want.

Hey RS.
Is this muzzle a separate image I have to put into the textures files?
How's your desert M1A1 coming?

That image is a small part of the main M1A1 texture file.
You would just have to crop the muzzle off of it, and paste it on another tanks main Texture file in the correct area.
The abrams is comming along. Everytime I think I'm close to finishing it, I find areas that need more work.
