View Full Version : Hey Al, how about a passing view?

One thing I really miss from other sims is the "pass view" where by as the column is rolling along and by hitting the key you get to see a tracking view of your current vehicle.

Any chance of seeing it before SB2?

Probably not, but I know about a certain feature (I haven't seen it in action yet) that may work as some sort of a substitute.

Hey. I know we complain a lot and ask for more all the time but this really is a wonderful sim. I can't express that enough. I just got off playing for 3 hours. EVEN THOUGH I was killed wrongfully by an AT-3 Sagger.

BMP-1s, if I remember correctly, can also be equipped with AT-4 missiles in SB Pro PE. Chances to achieve a kill should be marginaly, I admit, but you may want to check that scenario and see if the BMPs were more powerful than you thought they were.

Hopefully this will be a dismounted view. I'd love to be able to get out of the vehicles and move around on the ground, (with realistic visibility and vulnerability) to scout the terrain and observe without having to move the vehicles out of position.

It would also be nice to just “walk” around and admire the models with the proper perspective.

You mean like a fly-by view in flight sims? Yeah, that would be nice. In my latest video I made 2-3 weeks ago I arranged a sort of a 'drive-by' shot.

Yeah a good dismount view...until you get hit by a HEAT round and your splattered over the landscape.Also what range were you hit with the Sagger.?
