I fear my participation here is to be drastically reduced. My PC at home is driving me nuts, and refuses to accept certain cookies. Right now the only site that's prohibiting me from properly accessing it is SB. (It refuses to let me log in)...

However, you'll still find me online on occasion.

Try Opera, or Mozilla. Alternative browsers may help you to remedy the problem.

3 star.. same thing happened to me yesterday, I changed my privacy mode (cookie control) to HIGH as opposed to Med High.. and I couldn't log in either.. so I reduced it back to med high and all is well..

Can you reduce your Cookie control settings?.. may do the trick..

Check and make sure the time and date on your pc is right. If its not, the cookie may not work, and you will never be able to log in.

i have had to log in again several times in the last few days when i usually am cookied.

Opera allows to filter sites for cookies, shows them in full when asking for permission, and you can even decide what to do with them after the session (e.g. accept cookie, but delete it when closing Opera). The point is, with all security features enabled and set to "high", the Internet Explorer is close to unusable (that's no MS bashing, it's just a sad reality). Oh yeah, Opera also allows to suppress pop-up and pop-under windows with one key stroke and a mouse click.
