We are, at least one day (and often both), but 24th is impossible. We may need to delay the release a week into October actually, should the beta testers find a lot.

As usual, we don't commit to a specific date, and rather wait until the beta testers give green lights. We've received lots of feedback from the Swedish Army that required some more modifications.

What you can do to pass the time is go to www.CodeMeter.com and download and install the new CodeMeter runtime kit (3.10 or higher). You will definitely need it to get SB Pro PE to run after the upgrade, so you can just as well download and install it right now.

If we wanted to include it in the upgrade, we'd need to upload a full 650 MByte CD image or so since InstallShield doesn't seem to allow to build incremental patches with different packages. By keeping things separate the whole download will be limited to about 80 MBytes. That's probably worth the inconvenience.

What is the procedure for install of the kit - just download and doube click the file to install over any earlier runtime software ? Or anything more complicated ?

it's still under intensive test (I 'm not a beta tester, but I know one, and he don't want to let me try the CV90!!)

paddling? I will use the sails! will get a nice speed out of those hurricane winds on the north sea in November/December! :D

...... Maybe not. Stick you on a longboat with two of those chicks and chances are you'll miss the UK completely....... Wonder if that's how the Vikings got to America in the forst place????? :tongue:

The vikings ended up in America becouse they missed Iceland and/or greenland.... Itīs not a easy task to navigate the Atlantic without a magnetic compass. Itīs believed that they used a sun-compass.

I ask that question, too. Install it over the running version, or deinstall the previous version first?

I think you are on something there mate! betther contact the arcelogists and tell them about your theori, it might have a background for it... :D
