Humvee Recon Mission - is it broken

Hi,

Just tried out the Humvee recon mission in the demo folder. I tried it three times and each time the village was empty of enemy forces. Twice I hit SHF-5 for the "enemy deserted report" and got 0 out of 0 score, and once I hit the SHF-1 for "reinforced company" and still got 0 out of 0 score.

Is the sce broken or am I doing something wrong?

I've tried this one, there is no scoring. I think the point of the excercise is to follow the directions to the best of your ability. Then view the aar to see if you were right.

Well, the briefing at least says that there is a scoring penalty for choosing the wrong option. Also, I tried the scenario three times and it always had no troops in the village. I would assume that there would be a randomness in the mission to have the different options.

Yes - maybe the sce designer originally had it in mind to do some scoring. I didnt look to see if theres any randomness in the routes, or where units are placed.
