How do I tell System Restore to NEVER monitor the code meter?

I know if you go into System Properties - System Restore you can click on the CODEMETER (G:) Drive and change the Status to Turned off. When I do that I'm ok for 2 or 3 weeks. In fact the CODEMETER does not even show up in the Drive settings box of System Restore, only the (C:) drive shows up.

Then all of a sudden, out of the blue, System Restore will start to monitor CODEMETER again. If I don't catch it soon enough I loose all of my restore points.

How do I fix this? Thanks!

1. Right Click on MyComputer and choose Properties
2. Open System Restore Tab
3. Highlight Codemeter on the list of drives with a single click
4. Open the settings tab for the codemeter drive
5. Check turn off system restore on this drive.
6. Hit ok twice and you're done.

If you remove the codemeter stick often, check on this sitting now and then.

(continued) I forgot to add:

7. Create a new check point.

The codemeter stick must be plugged in for it to show up in the system restore list of drives. If you remove the codemeter stick often, check on this sitting now and then. If all of this fails, I have a utility that restores system restore to its default value in the registery.
