is some kind of repair/mechanic vehicles planned for SB pro?
like ARVīs and stuff like that?
thats something i really miss...
would be really good if you could have a vehicle move up to a damaged tank and tow it away to a "safe" area and repair it....
i have noticed that if you leave a damaged vehicle standing long enough without taking fire the crew will repair whatever they can...
but i think it could be done faster with some kind of mechanical support.

The hemtt cargo truck can make repair, but it will not be quicker.

You mean the ammo truck?
are you sure that isnt just the crew making repair while the HEMMT is rearming the tank?

Yes, it will make repairs also.

Also if you shut the engine down when you have a busted track, it'll be repaired quicker.

No, it really works. Be sure though that you've removed any route(s) your immobilized AFV may have been on. The engine will start up a moment after you shut it down, otherwise.

Would I screw with you guys
but as Shot says, make sure to remove any routes otherwise that dam TC orders the driver to start up again.

It will make repair that can not be done by the crew itself: motor, gunner sight, stabilisation (if it need more that a gyro alignment), every thing that need 60mn and more to repair.
If the crew can repair, there is a delay after the fault display. If not, there is the delay only if you are in a radius of 75m of an ammo truck.
Same with the medic, they "repair" disabled crew.
I tried the ASLAV-CS, but it do nothing.

now i cant see how you can repair crew. he got disabled by a cut on his finger and cant fire the gun no more? he needs a bandaid from the med-vehicle?
personally, i would model 'crew replenishment/replacement' by setting up a command post thingy or a bunch of tents that simulate people resurve. so if you drive a tank with knocked out TC you wait a minute near the tent and you get the new TC ready to roll. you can even replenish IFV/APC dismounts that way.
best idea ever came up with :)

the ASLAV-A should "repair" crew...
