Voila je suis francais et j'aimerais avoir confirmation de la part des francais que SB PRO PE est bien en partie en francais, disons que cela m'aiderais a comprendre le jeu si je me décidais à l'acheter car je suis à 2 doigt la :) .
Donc pour les frenchies si vous pouviez m'envoyer vos msn par mp :) histoire que l'on discute :)

Les descriptions des scenarios sont presque seulement en Anglais. Il y ons quelques en Allemande. Je ne souviens pas un qui etait en Francais. Si vous voulez savoir que'est qu'on besoin de faire dans le scenario, il faut recherchez un traduison, ou faire un estimation depuis les graphiques sur la carte.
J'ai jaimais essayer les didacticiels en Francais. Je retour en quelques heures avec la reponse, si un autre Francophone n'est pas reponder.
Je m'excuse que j'ai tuerie ta langue, je ne suis pas aussi courant que j'etais.

Les didactiels pour Leopard 1A5, Leopard 2A4, Leopard 2A5, M1A1 et M1A2 sont tous accessilble en Francais pour apprendre comment utiliser ces chars. En plus, l'interface est aussi accessible en Francais. Malheureusement, les voix sont en Anglais.
Le manuel écrit est seulement en Anglais, mais c'est possible de jouer seulement sur les didactiels, ils sont complet.
Je pense que c'est cinquante-cinquante si c'est un bonne idee pour depenser cent Euro en votre eventualitée, sauf si les autres Francais ici se réveler et vous aider.

Assuming that the initial post was indeed good French, I'm worried that if I put in my hash of French into Babel Fish, it'll come out as perfect English. You know it's really bad if Ji Yi Mi goes to Babelfish to get it translated.

Well, correct me if i'm wrong (for those who gonna understand what i wrote down...)
Bon, tous les menus peuvent donc être traduit en Français et sont je pense suffisament clairs... De même que le sont les tutoriaux qui explique suffisament le fonctionnement des chars. Pour les sons, ils sont effectivement en Anglais mais il me semble qu'une traduction est prévue. De toute façon, ce qui est dit est suffisament clair pour être compris.
-> Si on entend "Tanks" ou "Gunner Sabot Tanks" Ca veut dire qu'un tank a été repéré. Si on entend "HEAT", sa veut dire que l'obus chargé est un HEAT.
Concernant le manuel, une traduction est disponible dans le dossier du jeu, dans le C:\Program Files\esimgames\... et est suffisament clair pour comprendre les opérations de base du jeu. L'éditeur de carte et de scénario est quand à lui aussi traduit en Français.
Pour les missions, elles ne sont pas traduites mais il n'est pas nécessaire de connaitre un max d'anglais... Elles sont suffisament claires je pense. De toute façon, la map décrit aussi suffisament la mission.
Mauvais point, le Leclerc n'est pas dispoponible pour le moment et n'est pas près de l'être.

Joy, evidently my French was that bad. I only computer-translated a few of the more unusual words like 'tutorial' which I've never needed to know in casual conversation before. I picked what seemed the best word from the list. I guess I probably could have opened up SB, and seen what the word was from the menu!

As for everything else you wrote, I understood it perfectly without the aid of a translator, and it looks good enough to me.

I'm very rusty, but you don't live for five years in Wallonia without picking a bit of it up. My major problem these days is vocabulary. I'll usually know a word if I see it, but if I'm trying to come up with something to say, I sometimes need a little help for the specifics.

Les menus, les tutoriels, et le manuel PDF sont en français.
Les voix sont en cours de post processing (elles sont enregistrées, et Volcano les adapte).

C'est moi qui a traduit initialement les tutoriaux (en Français et en Néerlandais - avec le prochain update ce sera mentionné dans les credits).
Comme je ne suis pas francophone d'origine, Froggy a heureusement "néttoyé" mes traductions par après (sauf erreur de ma part !).
Peut-être qu'il a ajouté aussi qqs autres traductions, de nouveax tutoriaux ?

Desolé de n'avoir pas eu le temps de te répondre par PM. Oui, le simu est aussi en français. Toutefois, pour le moment (on a enregistré, reste à intégrer par eSim), les voix françaises ne sont pas disponibles.
Il est mieux de savoir un peu lire l'anglais, mais tu t'en sortira très bien, les tutoriaux sont traduits, le manuel aussi (en pdf pour la VF).
Et de toutes façons, tu aura toujours la communauté SB derrière toi.
Pas d'équipe française, mais pourquoi pas, si le nombre de français augmente ?

If it's better to be able to read english, the tutorials are translated in french as well as the manual (in pdf).

How a non-english speaker would write worser than a french speaker?
by translating samite language into germanic language.
samite-germanic is much more different than latin-germanic, especially after william the conqueror.
the reason it is hard for non-natives to use a language is most of the time we simply translate our own language, which might result in strange phrasing. for example, in your post, I think "could" is more appropriate than "would" :-)
