Hi all,

Just got my copy of SBPE today! What tank is the best one to start learning on? I've heard that the Leopard is easier to learn than the M1A1, but I don't know which Leopard variety that would be. :)

They're all pretty similar, actually - as far as the gunner's place is concerned.

Welcome aboard DoubleVeteran!!

If you want to learn to fight a tank from start to finish I would recommend starting with the Leo2A4 or Leo2A5, They are a little more user friendly than the M1A1 and the Leo1 which take a little more getting used to!

Yeah mate, welcome - I'm a noob too (only had it for a couple of weeks)- but loving Steel Beasts...

Actually, I think the M1 is simpler. You don't need to muck about with dynamic lead/no dynamic lead, and the TC's position doesn't have worries about the periscope override handoff (Or two persicopes in the 2A5).
