Hi all,
Just a quick one.
Do any of you know of any good scenarios with the Leo2A5 in? I quite enjoy using this tank and its the one ive spent the most tutorial and tank gunnery hours in so far, so I would like to put that to better use :)
Cheers

If you can't find many, just go in to the Msn editor and change the tanks from whatever to Leo2A5. I know it involves a little bit of effort but I am sure you will find it rewarding.
I to use the Leo2A5 as preference - mainly as it near to using a CR2.

Careful! There are a lot of similarities between the crewable MBTs, but there are a lot of differences as well. You may find that translating a mission from one MBT to another does significant damage to playability and/or balance.

Ammunition, for one example. I think the default selection Abrams comes with a better APFSDS round than the Leo2A4. To try to minimize this, check what loadout the tank in the scenario is using, then try to match that loadout in the Leo2A4 when you make the switch.
SOMETIMES switching vehicles can be really interesting. There's a really great scenario available for download called "Bradleys Under Fire", in which you have to take some hilltops guard by T-80s.
For laughs, go into the scenario maker and switch out your Bradleys for the MBT of your choice. The mission because extremely easy after that. :)

I suppose like you say its a matter of re-balancing the loadout, to try and keep it how it was before :)
Funny you should mention "Bradleys Under Fire" I tried that one yesterday, everything went well, but then some T-72's caught my advance off guard on the right flank! Great mission that!

It's also important to remember that the tanks in this game are not merely armored boxes carrying guns. They each have their individual and idiosyncratic fortes and foibles, each of which can have a significant impact on how the player employs them and therefore on how the mission might change as the playable tank changes.
I'd never send Leo1A5s into a mission where they faced T-80s, and I'd never hesitate to send -2A5s against the same foe, but if I wanted to maintain balance in either/both cases I'd want to know what each playable tank could do for/against me, and mod the mission accordingly.

Thanks for that Shotmagnet, im still quite new to armoured warfare simming, so its nice to have that sort of input!
Considering my skills using the Leo1, I wouldnt put myself up against a BRDM in it!
