View Full Version : Anyone notice that Nils writes more when an update is imminent?

I've been thinking and when Nils' replies on the forum are really long usually updates are rather close.

I don't know why... maybe he has more time to write longer because programming and testing is going well? Lot's of HUGE paragraph responses tonight. Just something I've noticed. I could be wrong of course...

I visit the forum more often if I have more time available. Also, not all questions warrant a detailed reply. To me, this forum is a part of our software documentation insofar as you can use a search function to look for certain features that may not be covered well in the manual (that's why I tend to be a bit long-winded).
Finally, I want you to understand the underlying design decisions and "simulation mechanics" so that you can come up with good explanations of unexplained results by thinking a bit about what you know. We try to be consistent in the application of principles.

Update:
Al is in a bug-killing frenzy and we're hesitant to stop him, even though pretty much all of the bugs are just minor annoyances. We want to freeze the code this weekend, have the beta testers have another go at it, then release it by the end of next week.

Yikes. Over here it has been somewhere between 4.5 and 13 C for lows...
Considering that I have to wait at a bus stop at 6-7 PM, it is not fun to say the least.

Don't think its going to be out today guys... have a bad feeling that it will be next week. Just a hunch. Usually on patch release days its out before I even get out of bed. Awfully quiet out there. Too quiet.
