Crash to menu

Hi,

I seem to be having a minor issue that has prevented me from enjoying tanky goodness of late. Here's the problem:

When I'm loading any sort of mission, from Tank Range to any sort of offline mission (never tried online, TBH, due to minor insecurity about having my arse repeatedly handed to me on a plate), SB begins to load the mission, and returns to the main menu, not so much as a "Thanks for coming out."

I do get a brief glimpse of an error message along the lines of "Can't find resource 000001." When I say brief, I mean just a flicker. I've been trying to get a screen cap of it without luck. It's sneaky.

I've tried repairing the installation, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc, all to no avail.

My dongle firmware is up to date, drivers as well. System specs below:

Pentium 4 3.4Ghz
512 megs RAM
Roughly 125 gigs unused disk space
GeForce 7900GT

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm starting to get a little twitchy.

When you reinstalled, did you delete all SB related files and folders?

If not, try the uninstall/ reinstall again, but get rid of everything SB leaves behind. Run a registry cleaner as well.
