It's been done for almost a week. I was going to wait for the update to see if it would change anything. But after the latest delay, I decided to give you guys a toy to play with until the new update arrives. If it changes the way the mission plays out, I can tweak it later.

You'll find it in SB Pro PE single missions. Versions for both Abrams and Leo 2A5 included.

Day 2 (7 Oct 73) of the epic tank battle. In the north, dug-in Israeli tanks hold off repeated Syrian attacks. In the central Golan, Syrian forces are advancing on the key bridges over the Jordan River and the IDF HQ/supply/repair center at Naffach. Company-size IDF tank units are trying to block entire Syrian brigades.

Reinforcements are still 24 hours away.

Not much maneuver (that comes in Day 3) but a lot of violent shoot-outs. Random enough that it never plays out the same way twice. As in the earlier chapters, the rolling terrain makes for some challenging gunnery.

Feedback welcome!

Hi HotTom
once again thank you very much for the work you have put in. I played Golan Heights 3 Leo version today and had a fanatstic time. I loved the way in which you managed to have so much going on but all compartmenlised so I was able to jump into different areas of the battlefield in turn and have a blast then move on. I think it would be fantastic to do in MP mode providing the units were shared out before starting the mission.
Once again thanks

You're welcome, Irish.

I'm told the earlier versions have played very well as MPs (multiple player, not my branch :) ). I guess guys just meet up in TS and decide to do it.

Having the same mission for both is an interesting way to compare the Abrams and the Leo 2A5 (I'm not sure if I'm comparing the tanks or the models). My gunnery always is much better with the Leo.

I didn't put a scoring system in these but what I do is take the number of kills I have and subtract the number of times my tank was destroyed. In all the testing I did, it was usually in the mid-20s in the Leo and the low 20s in the Abrams.

Glad you enjoy it! Two more days (probably four more scenarios) still coming.

What a massive scenario!

I can only imagine how much time you put in there.....

Thanks...it is great shooting and keeps you gunning like crazy from beginning to end....

It is a true time-killer ( I tried it a couple of times....the evening is over!)
