Hello.
Does anyone know about any unclassified information regarding modern tank tactics in urban terrian? I'd be especially interested in tank/infantry-team tactics.

Well...
Tanks are qiete handy: you have mobile cover and fire support...not to mention the 120mm all-purpose-door-opener when you want to enter a building.
Things you have to consider are: sabots fired over your head(the sabot iself could hit you) and I would be concerned about any reactive-amour to close to me...

I would also be concerned about the pressure wave generated from the 120. In order to stay safe, you'll need the infantry to clear a path ahead of you, but once they move too far ahead, you won't be able to use your main gun as you please. I'm still a bit curious about how far ahead the tanks are during US MOUT operations. Are they "pulling" the infantry ahead, or are they called in as fire support whenever the infantry needs them? How do they conduct their patrols?

Tanks would be used in both offense and defensive operations. In the offense the tank would use its weapon systems to clear out the big items or open a path into a particular area and then the infantry would move in to finish clearing the objective. In the defense the tank would provide cover and overwatch for the infantry as they moved house to house searching for the enemy or whatever their mission may be.
