It's been a while since I played SB1 - a long, long while actually.

I seem to remember that when controlling infantry there was a way to force them to fire at the unit of your choice. I thought it had to do with lasing the unit you wanted them to fire at.

That method doesn't work in SB PE and I can't find how to do it in the manual.

How does one force a player controlled infantry unit to fire at the enemy I want it to?

You can't... at least not yet. And you never could. Shift+Lase can work, and it may have worked better at that in the past, but it never was an "override" function, just a tool to create "awareness" of a target.

We did work a bit on target prioritization since the old SB1 days, so this may have influenced the subjective responsiveness.

you might want to move your infantry to an area where the ATGM gunner or RPG gunner has a clear LOS to the vehicle you want them to fire at.
also, make sure they are whithin range of the respective missile they are using. some of the RPGs have a range of barely 200-400m.

Thanks - that's what I needed to know.
