cant see through smoke. new feature or bug?

Ive been away a while so please excuse me if Im missing something obvious.

I cant see through smoke using thermal scope. I know I used to be able to see through it before I patched it up to latest specs. Is this a new thermal smoke, or is it a bug? advice appreciated :)

Nope no bug. It is the "new" multispectral smoke.

Yes the crew have been issued with new Mushroom variety Smoke discharges...Nah.It,s the new heat absorbing smoke that,s been around.There,s a thread here somewhere with some cool vids in it in use with Abrams.

In the Set ammunition... dialog you have the option to select between conventional WP smoke and multispectral (or "Galix" for some) smoke.
