I was just listening to some voices and thought it would be really cool to hear German voices on German vehicles. Well not just just German, but whatever country you are playing.
What I mean is if I am playing a mission with a Leo and I have a German crew, why can't they have German accents? I want to understand them while getting into the sim as much as possible. It's just seems kinda odd that I am playing as the German Military and I hear Americans speaking. Just an I idea.

Because if I switch to German, then they will speak Deutsch. Unfortunatly, I do not sprechen sie Deutsch. What I am saying is have a German crew with at least a German accent. Otherwise it's like Americans are riding in my Leo.

There is an idea to allow the scenario designer to specify the spoken language used, which would be independent of the text. However, there is no plan to record phrases of different nationalities speaking english, as this would require a huge additional of recording as well as the question on what you would do for the other languages. What I mean is, who is to say that we shouldn't have some of us americans trying to pronounce german for german players playing on the M1?

Yeah, I hear ya. I just thought it would be kinda cool. Maybe some of these talented guys on here that are always posting new sounds will do something like that. Like I said it was an idea and I thought it would make the experience better when on another country's vehicle. I wouldn't mind hearing some Americans speaking Deutsch, but that is up to you guys. I guess I wouldn't do it if no one cared that much.

You can copy the PSTRINGS.TXT from C:\Program Files\eSim Games\SB Pro PE\loc\English\ to ..\Deutsch\.
That way you will have English menus even if you select German as a language. OK, it's not totally convenient, but at least some sort of a workaround.
