I experience an abrupt slowdown of my vehicle as I drive on roads. Especially when entering a road from the bush. However there are only certain regions of the road that affect my speed. Is this supposed to be? Only me? Couldn't find this issue brought up anywere.

If your formation of vehicles is not all moving at the same speed as you, you may find your driver will abruptly slow down for the rest of them to catch up.
A good case example is that you are driving on a road which has good traction and the rest of your formation are spread over fields and rough terrain. (If you were in line\wedge\echelon formation etc etc)
This may be the cause, but I cant see what you are up to at the time, so I cant say much more than that ;)

Check the theme the map you're using is set up with. Traction will be one of the things to look at. If it's set to low, that may be why you're having problems.

Yes... I thought the traction would be an issue there... I think all the benefits outweigh the downs so it doesn't matter that much. I think of it as a simulation of getting on to the roads with banks/curbs and everything. Just have to change tactics before crossing and using roads.
Cheers!

You can change the theme in the map editor.

Or, more precisely - you can edit themes in the map editor, and select between existing themes in the mission editor.

Have you checked to verify you don't have the mine plow down?

I've noticed that....
Dumb question - is there a way to raise it and the rollers on the roller tank because those suckers absolutely move slow.

The rollers can't be raised. Plows lower and raise by space bar, as usual.
