We had something similar on leo1A5's in bosnia which was taken from the M-41DK

yes. you can see the projector mounted above the gun barrel on the leopard 2a5DK.

No, it's a searchlight/spotlight.

Its a nice gimmig (Searchlight) to say "Hello" to the opposite, before sending "120 mm greetings"

That was one of the uses we used it for under UN in bosnia.

its only on the danish leopard 2a5DK, and should be on the leopard 1a5DK as well
