What do you think about the upcoming T34 versus Tiger ("Kharkow 42 Steelfury") simulation? It looks extremely promising, according to the screenshots being posted or linked to here:

Could this become what SBP is for modern tanks?
Thanks to rrhode from subsim. com who keeps us updated on this WWII-sim.

Gameplay, that's what sells me. SB:G wasn't much for the eye-candy crowd, but man could you have a blast just playing it.
The glitter is nice, but if the game doesn't play for crap I won't bother.

"She's shore gotta purty mouth, paw"...
I would urge people not to pass judgement based on some screenshots. I've seen myself what people try to read into the screenshots and movies, and I dont think its a fair reflection of what the gameplay will be like. Lets wait until its completed and theres a demo to try, then we can hope that there is some good gameplay there. I do hope that one of the two ww2 sims turns out well, there has been nothing of signifigance for me since Panzer Elite came out years ago.

There is a demo, as I have linked! But I haven't tried it, it is a bit complicated to put it together. Those trying it said it played well. but then again, that'S just personal opinions. I hope the sim mechanism are of the quality like the screenies, then this game/sim could be a real great thing.

kharkov and TvsT are 2 different games,
one is with panzers, the others got tigers.
TvsT is the pretty one in the crowd.

???
Have I mixed them up for months and months? They look almost identical to me! Sure it is not two different working titels for one and the same project?
If you are right, have a laugh at me, all drinks on my bill...
P.S. You could be right. Skip that demo from my first posting. No demo for TvsT, then. that's a high bill for me, then

Yep Skybird, they are two different games/sims. The one which rrhode has been posting screenshots of the interiors recently is the T-34 vs Tiger game/sim.
Here is the link to an interview done at SimHQ with the developers of the T-34 vs. Tiger sim.

It has promise but there is work yet to be done. IMHO, it needs to include a mission editor.
