Grenny
Lets see If Eisen shot some pix...and then we try to post a short AAR in a few days.I really liked the engagement at Range-20!UK-armour was hitting them from the front, and D platoon flanked.1x T-80 platoon whiped out in under 1 minute!! Nice work...
Tonywjones44
Go the flying ARV! Takes a bit to get 140+ tonnes (ARV + CR2) off the ground. Unsure if it was lag or a bug. Actually, all British Challengers are inflatable decoys. (We can't afford real metal ones). Somebody must have filled some of 'em with Helium rather than compressed air. Not sure what Hedgehog had in his - but it bounced down the road in fine fashion. And I'm sure I heard strains of 'The wonderful thing about Tiggers is that Tiggers are wonderful things....'

(And er Trackpad says Thanks ) Had to leave early, chaps, but I had dropped some time before. Had a great time as Gib's wingman. Too bad that IED ambush got us both! Thanks to all participants and especially to our German hosts. I look forward to visiting again!
Gibsonm
Had a great time as Gib's wingman. Too bad that IED ambush got us both! Sorry about that. Have just finished writing to your NOK but my fault for picking an obvious BP, next time we'll flank them. I'm also chasing the S2 for the crap Int assessment - nothing about the Soviets adopting IED / VBIED type tactics, all we were told at Sqn was that it was a MR outfit.
Grenny
Yepp, was a bit surprized about that too.Them OPFOR played a bit dirty...but we gave them a good shoeing anyway. And, yes...I should have ordered to bypass that enemy position. :-(There even was a possible way east of the "Rennbahn"(main road)

Not your fault. Perhaps I should have read more into that blazing pickup truck. But do feel free to hammer the S2. Maybe he should go out on point recce next time! :sonic:
Hedgehog
Well we had 7 tanks to begin with and we had 4 left "operational". Pretty much all had some sort of damage, mainly crew, but my tank (0A) had a roadwheel shot orff. And the other damaged tanks, as has been mentioned, were last seen in low earth orbit.... :cul: Hence the AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! (I took the executive desicion, "F**K it, moving on!")

Gibsonm
Very nice. Glad you observed OPSEC and deleted all reference to the new secret "flying Challengers" - don't want the bad guy to know about them until a time and place of our choosing. (although the careful observer would see on the map a tank being towed and then the next second being randomly "destroyed" - 13:19 right near the "f" in "Mech Inf Bn" label).
Kingtiger
It's a good thumb of rule not to post bugs like that in youtube/external media as it's gives a permanent negative view of a temporary issue Nice vid Eisenschwein, I like it!
Hedgehog
Hey!What happened to my call"Mutiple Tanks contacts South of my position! Engaging! Out!"And Grenny/Ronin's reply (And this is 100% what it actually sounded like on the radio/TS):"Hold them by ze nose! Und we will kick them in ze Balls!"That was the highlight of the night for me!
