Im Memoriam - Honor our fallen virtual tankers here

70 posts in this topic

I have just learned about this and I am really devastated.

He was an awesome person and a very good friend.

He was not only really talended but he was also a really nice person.

I had the priviledge to meet him in person during a visit to the Tank Museum in Munster. He even organized to produce a Pz Battallion 911 t-shirt custom made for me that I have it here with me.

I have not spoken with him for some time but that was the kind of friendship that last no matter how long you don't see each other.

What a fine person, what a sad lose!

Although I have not been able to play SB for long time I will surely attend this event to honnor him.

Rest in peace my friend.

Ich hatt' einen Kameraden,

Einen bessern findst du nicht.

RIP.

In observance and out of respect, from myself and the Dogs of War, our VU will not have any organized missions this day.

We are encouraging for those that would like to play on this day, for them to play the memoriam games.

It is always hard to lose a friend. RIP.

Thanks, Duke. If the missions you download can be the ones that will be played on Saturday, I for one would really appreciate that. I can't be in game on Saturday, but I'll have the "In Memoriam" games. Thx again!

A good enjoyable evening.

I hope it is a fitting eulogy to Manteuffel.

Godspeed Sir.

One day I hope we meet at the great sandbox in the sky. :)

It has been a great event to honnor and remeber our friend.

it was very emotive as well when you see 27 panzer with people from all over the world lined up to salute our missing friend.

You have to be very special, to gather such recognition and surely Manteuffel really deserved it.

Farewell my friend, you will be missed but not forgotten.

Thanks to our friends of the 911 Pz Btll for this really nice event.

Well that was the curtain raiser.

Mission 1 just completed.

Mission 2 now being briefed.

Missions 3 and 4 to follow.

I suspect if video was taken it wont be processed, edited, uploaded, etc. for at least 8 hours.
