This scenario is called MOTANFALLET (The Counterattack) When: World Clock PREFACE: Russia has invaded the Swedish Island of Gotland to gain control of the area of the Baltic sea that affects the NATO members in the Baltics. Initial attack was successful and both SLITE and VISBY was captured 1 weeks ago by naval infantry forces which has now pulled out and been replaced by regular army units. The Russian forces on the Island is limited as the major scene is unfolding on the border to the Baltic countries and the entire Island has not been taken under Russian control. To make the Russian situation even worse the Russian supply line has been cut by Swedish subs and heavy NATO presence have stopped air support from Kaliningrad creating a setting for Swedish counterattack. As a result of the inability of the Russian forces to control and reinforce the entire Island Swedish forces in battalion strength that was mobilizing on the Island has managed to stay hidden in the south part of the Island in the forested areas in vicinity of KLINTEHAMN - BUTTLE - LOJSTA and have now attacked north and captured VISBY together with VISBY AIRFIELD, pushed Northeast to bypass enemy forces dug in at TINGSTÄDE and are now ready to take the last Russian port of SLITE.
