smithcorp
I recall this was intended to be judged around Halloween - would love to see the entries.

Grenny
Made my day :-D Are the authors and esim ok with linking/posting those images elsewhere?
Members Ssnake
I will probably take down the images in a few days from my server but otherwise I'd guess that it's just fine. After all, the conditions of the contest were that the images had to be published on a web server to which we could place a link; I just moved them to a common location and anonymized them, for the protection of the innocent.
mpow66m
Whos Heisenberg?
smithcorp
Werner Heisenberg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werner_Heisenberg) was a physicist working in quantum mechanics. He stated the uncertainty principle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncertainty_principle The link to SB is, as I understand it, a bug affecting the Shilka, depending on whether you were in the observer position or not (hence Heisenbug). smithcorp
Thanks Esim and Ssnake - the Heisenbug challenge was a lot of fun to think about.

Also the basis for the "Infinite Improbability Drive" and women's underwear moving at parties in another notable publication. There's also a popular TV series, "Breaking Bad", where the main character adopts this as his cover name when he starts cooking and dealing meth.
mpow66m
lol,ok.this is a bit above my head, lol.what was the bug?
Members Ssnake
Well, the bug was only there when we didn't observe the unit directly. Hence the name "Heisenbug". Which made it difficult to fix.
