TGIF 2017: scenario list, discussion, and house rules

Recommended Posts

22 DEC scenario:

Air Assault 02-4023

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Draft? No (unless teams are determined to be uneven).
  • Blue & Green vs. Red.
  • Blue only needs about 3 to 4 players.
  • Green needs about 5 to 8 players.
  • Red needs about 6 to 9 players.

NOTES:

  • Avoid studying the enemy's side; only gather intel from the briefing and exposed enemy unit icons (enemy intel), and briefly looking over both sides to figure out which one you want to CO. Anything beyond that ruins the fog of war element.
  • To avoid passwords, open the scenario in Network Session as HOST and choose the side you want to play and go to planning phase. You may briefly look at both sides like this to see which side you want to play or CO on. As CO, once you choose a side, go to that side and create your plan.
  • Remember to play within the TGIF House Rules and SB.com community rules.

I know its a little way off, but do you have any plans to run TGIF on the evening of Good Friday (30 MAR) in your time zone.

If you do it may clash with the tail end of one of the possible options on offer for running "Rolling Thunder 18".

Just need to know so I can ensure it finishes on time (or possibly remove that window as an option).

If you don't then I'll keep it as an option.

Hmm, no idea really, but typically we don't do TGIF only if Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years, or Thanksgiving falls on Friday.

Thanks, should be able to fit it in.

1800 GMT start

3 x 2 hr missions (max)

3 x 0.5 hr "breaks"

0.5 hour fudge

1800 + 8 hours = roughly 0200 GMT.

0300 GMT = TGIF start.

I'm amazed this scenario is still in use!  I really need to get back to playing SB.
