Mission will start promptly at 0900 GMT. If you want a pre game "chat" then by all means come on line at say 0830 GMT, but so that the Kiwi's aren't after Midnight the Mission will commence promptly at 0900 GMT.

We continue the use of TeamViewer so people without the Steel Beasts software can connect and see and hear what we see and hear (looking over our shoulder if you like).

This maybe a suitable vehicle for people to see what the software is all about, without having to invest in even a short time limited copy.

Anyway we'll see how it goes.

Agenda:

People's heads should have cleared after ANZAC Day. Depends on sign ups but:

1. New and improved Chong Ju issued last week - After Jumo's valiant effort, will anyone else step up.

Please Note: A plan file that you have built for the original will not work with either of the newer ones, so if you want to use your plan file, we must use the original scenario. Or you can get one of the newer ones and "update" your plan to suit.

2. If no one is ready for that then if we get enough, I thought we might give one of the OPERATION SCORPION battles a workout.

3. Do some "Brilliant at the Basics" work?

4. Rolling Thunder '17 - getting to the meaty part.

5. Scope for Q & A / Tutorial / new Features in 4.019 session - again depends on responses and if people come ready to ask questions.

As always, visitors / first timers / spectators are welcome.

Current Standard: 4.019

Please use the new Calendar RSVP function or post here to facilitate planning.

Did manage a session for some planning Chong- Ju. Need enough players to have a go, not necessarily this week.

Question: assume I can re position artillery later in mission although appreciate will have bigger delay?

Tried not to be too prescriptive on vehicle by vehicle moves and will brief intent and any latitude at the time

BG ANZAC Chong Ju not so easy 4_010 CHRIS.pln

Chris,

Yes you can adjust the fire plan.

Indeed that is what normally happens you put your limited number of DFs/TRPs in initial locations to support your opening moves.

Then as the battle develops, you can lift the fires that are no longer of use from their old location to a new one.

This is part of the planning that the artillery person and the manoeuvre person do before you cross the LD.

Was going to be there wearing these: http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/fashion/fashion-trends/jeans-with-plastic-knee-panels-were-questionable-but-fullon-plastic-jeans-craaazy-town/news-story/651a1185a37d80f2b1ce8f214754f52d but unfortunately my wife's work has struck and I'm babysitting tonight at a house without broadband or my PC. Sorry chaps, have a good session.

Can I join you? I signed the page, but realized that it was 11am in my working time, and I asked you to be removed.... But today I am almost free so I could do it.

If you agree I could join you in the battle.
