Gibsonm
Who is BG ANZAC? http://www.bganzac.org Described here: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=21753 A couple of examples of the BattleGroup at work: Multi Player session: Training session: So if you are interested, visit our web site http://www.bganzac.org and sign up. Timings: Thursday evenings, Australian East Coast time. Daylight Saving has ended and the number of time zones have shrunk Next meeting: 0900 GMT on Thursday, May 11th. 1000 in London (BST?) 1700 in Perth 1830 in Darwin 1830 in Adelaide 1900 in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra 1900 in Brisbane 2100 in Auckland Your Local time: Local time for your part of the world Count down: Time remaining until Meeting start Mission will start promptly at 0900 GMT. If you want a pre game "chat" then by all means come on line at say 0830 GMT, but so that the Kiwi's aren't after Midnight the Mission will commence promptly at 0900 GMT. We continue the use of TeamViewer so people without the Steel Beasts software can connect and see and hear what we see and hear (looking over our shoulder if you like). http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx?pid=google.tv.s.au&gclid=CPLOveOGlcECFVgkvQodqk0A4g This maybe a suitable vehicle for people to see what the software is all about, without having to invest in even a short time limited copy. Anyway we'll see how it goes. Agenda: Depends on sign ups but: 1. New and improved Chong Ju issued a couple of weeks ago. Please Note: A plan file that you have built for the original will not work with either of the newer ones, so if you want to use your plan file, we must use the original scenario. Or you can get one of the newer ones and "update" your plan to suit. 2. If no one is ready for that then if we get enough, I thought we might give one of the OPERATION SCORPION battles a workout. 3. Maybe a chance to look at Panzer Leader's latest, but as its Head to Head it will need enough attendees to man both sides. 4. Do some "Brilliant at the Basics" work? 5. Rolling Thunder '17 - getting to the meaty part. 6. Scope for Q & A / Tutorial / new Features in 4.019 session - again depends on responses and if people come ready to ask questions. As always, visitors / first timers / spectators are welcome. Current Standard: 4.019 Please use the new Calendar RSVP function or post here to facilitate planning.

Panzer_Leader
This week we played Abraxas' very enjoyable 'JERXHEIM hasty defense reinforced platoon M1-M2', which makes for a manageable single-player or small multiplayer scenario: A couple of shots from the night's action: The Javelin team of 2-1E [Panzer_Leader] maintain watch in front of their knocked out M2A2 Bradley after destroying two T-80U and a BMP-3 of the Forward Security Element (FSE). Before the expected arrival of the enemy's main body, 2-1E's Javelin team start their 1.75 km walk to 2-2E [Japo32] to restock their Javelin missiles.
