Calling artillery

Why doesn't the artillery execute the second mission when the first one is finished? I mean, after the first mission is finished, I call another artillery, but they just don't respond. I do resupply them. What's the matter? Thanks.

what does the fire support menue say concerning that next fire mission?(status?)

If its on map artillery, is the 2nd target in range?

Old, finished fire missions need to be confirmed to be "done" in order to be removed from the queue.

Ah, Ok, as Ssnake said: mark the "old" fire missions a finhished in Fires menue. Otherwise your tubes are tied down for a possible "repeat" fire mission.

Then it should work. Also make sure the in the mission editor, the AI is not allowed to call fires...otherwise the AI will call fires on detected enemy----and you'll have to wait ;-)

Also make sure you have the tubes to call on.  If you ask for six tubes, but only have four available (for whatever reason), you will be forced to wait.

I would like to know is how do you cancel and arty fire mission??You have targets spotted and have knocked them out and as you roll over there position some idiot asssed officer decides that's a great place for and icm strike...I have shot a lot of officers in this sim...

Also, if the AI is allowed to call artillery the player can't cancel or otherwise control it.
