If you want a pre game "chat" then by all means come on line at say 0830 GMT, but so that the Kiwi's aren't after Midnight the Mission will commence promptly at 0900 GMT. In game chat / Communications: You'll need access to "Teamspeak" to communicate with us. This is detailed here: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbwiki/index.php?title=Starter_Pack We continue the use of TeamViewer so people without the Steel Beasts software can connect and see and hear what we see and hear (looking over our shoulder if you like). http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx?pid=google.tv.s.au&gclid=CPLOveOGlcECFVgkvQodqk0A4g This maybe a suitable vehicle for people to see what the software is all about, without having to invest in even a short time limited copy. Anyway we'll see how it goes. Agenda: Depends on sign ups but: 1. New and improved Chong Ju issued a couple of weeks ago. Please Note: A plan file that you have built for the original will not work with either of the newer ones, so if you want to use your plan file, we must use the original scenario. Or you can get one of the newer ones and "update" your plan to suit. 2. Do some "Brilliant at the Basics" work? 3. Scope for Q & A / Tutorial / new Features in 4.019 session - again depends on responses and if people come ready to ask questions. As always, visitors / first timers / spectators are welcome. Current Standard: 4.019 Please use the new Calendar RSVP function or post here to facilitate planning.

Gibsonm
Ack. Will have an updated copy of the map project up on DropBox later tonight (say 2300 your time).
Panzer_Leader
Great, I also have something (using the good old Beaudesert map) that could be worth a verbal or visual preview or perhaps even an early Alpha test run if there's appetite (I took my own advice from the email I sent you and Shaun). No problems if not, it will improve with another week's ageing too.
Gibsonm
Copy uploaded. Top 63 Northings (17 to go) checked for road alignment. Then need to: 1. Compare sim road type to real road type (sim terrain to real map). 2. Add buildings / infrastructure. 3. Label major terrain features, key roads, etc. 4. Perhaps trim remaining surplus low tide areas. 5. Then duplicate map to add "exercise" components - that you aren't allowed to see. We will use the plain map, Army will use the augmented one.

Gibsonm
Ah yes - your house renovation seems to have a similar timeline to the Pyramids.
Panzer_Leader
On a slightly less cosmic timescale, I have a playable Alpha of my new 1994 Australian scenario (a Combat Team of 5/7 RAR (Mech), no less) ready for preview (or is that "playview"?) tonight if there's interest
