Annotations - what are they good for?

I've been building a map and using "Annotations" to label major features, towns, etc.

They work fine in the map editor but if I import the map into the Mission Editor, or refresh it, the labels do not come though. :(

Are these meant more as "notes to self" when building the map and I need to do the labelling in the Mission Editor only?

You have to use "refresh Annotations" in the mission editor to get them to pop up. I do not know why it is this way but I would guess its to make it possible to get a clean fresh map and decide if you want to load the annotations.

Is there a way to set the default size of the font to the smallest possible?

You can set the default format for new additions, including size and color.

Don't do that...

Today is my 60th birthday. Yours is coming. (If you're lucky, fast, good and charming.)

When it comes, you will want a way to make the text (ALL the text) larger.

They are talking about the map annotations, as it is right now the text the mission editor writes into the scenario can not be changed anyway by the player, so no changes there.

Also: Happy B-day!
