Also, I might add - not in response to your inquiry but for future users who might come here searching for "MRF": 

 

MRF files are a signal by developers that they don't want to share what's inside. That's not the only reason, they also offer certain advantages with respect to loading times, but a reason, so before tinkering with them you may want to consider possible copyright violations associated with it and what the response of developers will be when it comes to related support requests. Maybe what you want to do can be achieved by other, supported means. :)

Sorry Chief, didn't mean to alarm you. I was curious if it was possible. All objects have the .mrf file designation along with skins and I thought it mite be possible to simply move the files from the Terrasim folder over and bingo, I would be able to use some of the objects from a map that no one uses. My apologies
