GaryR
Just did a fresh install of 3.27 including the included Codemeter runtime. When I try and start the sim I get the attached error. Installed 3.028, same error. Installed latest 6.50c Codemeter Runtime, same error. Turned off AVG antivirus, same error. Any ideas? Rotareneg
Here's a post from someone else who had a similar issue with SB 2.654, perhaps it may help with your problem as well:
Members Ssnake
For all I can say after reviewing support emails with that topic, in the few cases that we had in the last years it was related to 3rd party software like MSI Nahimic, or ASUS Sound Studio. They seem to initialize a DLL that Steel Beasts also uses, before Steel Beasts gets to initialize it - but with different parameters which then makes Steel Beasts fail to start up properly.
