Major duck Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 KANIUM SUNDAY 14TH OF JAN 1900 UTC “TANK BATTLE NEAR WILLINGEN CLOSE TO SOLTAU ” BY SWORDSMANDK Where: Kanium TS : teamspeak3.i3d.net:10077 World Clock 1900 UTC 1) SITUATION: a) Enemy: An enemy Battalion from the 4th Guards Brigade is established in a defensive line south of Soltau. They are most likely arrayed with 2x Companies foward, defending with tanks and infantry near R11 with an additional armor reserve located at the southern outskirts of Soltau. Heavy Engineer activity has been observed. b) Own: The 33rd is part of a Division-sized offensive, led by the 4th US Infantry Division that is aimed at retaking Hamburg. The initial assault will be led by the 33rd, that will size a foothold south of Soltau, and will pass elements of 4th US Infantry Division into Soltau and north to Hamburg. c) Attachments and detachments: [Any attachments and/or detachments to or from PLT and Co. are listed here] - Echo (Engineer) units attached for breaching - 1 BTY M109 attached with FO 2) MISSION: Attack and Breach defences to seize OBJ TIGER in order to pass elements of 4th Infantry Division north to Soltau. Key Tasks 1. Attack North East to Seize OBJ TIGER and Crossing 2. Clear R11 for future operation and reinforcements. One of our guy had a serious work accident and he is recovering his hand dexterity but would need much more time to be ready and some other people of our team may not be available this month.
