Can we play on?

I, we have come to a decision point that was not foreseen at Campaign start.

 

This is your Campaign, therefor I need guidance if you would kindly voice your views please.

I would be interested in a redux with a theme that follows the book yet with better "play balance". For example the OPFOR a T72M and upgrade the AS1 ammo a bit.

Personally I'd like to play "as per the book" as it provides a good challenge.

 

I think many / most of the issues could be resolved through adequate briefing, but I understand some people prefer to use the newest gear, as opposed to earlier variants. 

 

Unfortunately I could not make the offered dates / timing, hence my lack of participation.

I for one never step into 2A5, CV anything or a M1A2. It's cheating.

Some missions are not meant to be won, and you measure a "win" by how little units you lost or how little ground you gave up.  I can understand why that is a difficult thing to handle.

I fully agree with Gibson statement. I also like the concept of playing the book storyline.

Using older gear also provides a very good challenge.

A very good briefing and a clear understanding of the limitations of the vehicles would help.

Also it would be good that a very fine tunned balance between BLUEFOR and OPFOR equipment is calculated.

In my oppinion having T-72 B2 (1985) was a litte bit futuristic for a 1984 and considering the Leo1AS limitations a very tough enemy for an scenario with only Leos and no TOW.

Said this I am all for the campaing and I would love to continue it as it is.
