Bond_Villian
Im trying to set up the NZLAV as a proxy for the Ratel 20 IFV, and ive noticed that with stabilization damaged the turret does not traverse (except for manual traverse), but the AI gunner has powered turret traverse somehow. Is this a bug, or a feature im not aware of? (same goes for the ASLAV25) Cheers Edited April 12, 2018 by Bond_Villian
Mirzayev
Oddly enough, I had the same issue with the NZLAV while also trying to approximate a Ratel 20. I can confirm that I experienced the same issue.

DarkAngel
It seems like this might be intended. The ASLAV-25 and the Bradley have the same effect. This is to the best of our knowledge how these vehicles are.
Bond_Villian
So is there some way for the human user to have powered traverse whilst Stab is off?
DarkAngel
I think you'll find the AI are just using superfast manual traverse
Rotareneg
If you jump in to the commander's position and switch between emergency and manual fire control you can see the AI is using power traverse in emergency mode with stabilization damaged: Edited April 13, 2018 by Rotareneg

RENEGADE-623
the Bradley, at least the a2 and earlier, you still could traverse the turrets in power even if stab was off. not sure tho if stab became inop but I wouldn't think that would make a difference Edited April 14, 2018 by RENEGADE-623
Gibsonm
I've made some enquiries and sent a PM to Dark about it. My information is ASLAV specific, so can not comment on the other vehicles mentioned. Edited April 15, 2018 by Gibsonm
