yamato9
My Old M1A1 NATO hi res texture optimised for use on new v2.4 model. Work is still in progress so before final release i need to correct few details. Credits go to Fabfire, RogueSnake, Daskal and Dejawolf. RAR "M1A1pack" file contain two versions of texture, M1 in clean and dirty version. Thanks to Dejawolfs PSD template and his "dirt layer" i produced dirty M1. Here are some screenshots and BETA version of textures. Thanks! M1A1pack.rar Edited April 25, 2009 by yamato9

yamato9
Thanks alot guys, im glad you like it! I will correct errors as soon i get some free time. Im not shure yet would i start work on similar textures for other vehicles, but if i will then first on the list is Bradley. So then US vehicles whoud be in same tone. Somehow im not happy with this work, actually i like default (shadow contrast corrected) M1 skin the most. On other hand this skin is not in same tone with other vehicles and if i optimize those textures then i dont like it. New models are excellent and textures to, however textures are too contrasted and too dark on most areas. Shadows in SB are to dark, it is to big contrast between bright "sunny" surfaces and surfaces in shadow. By my opinion i think that shadow "strenght" rendering whoud be about 30% less then now, maybe even more. Im little off topic but maybe here are some other players who share same opinion (constructive criticism). picture from last experiment: Edited April 26, 2009 by yamato9
